Ella's birth was the most beautiful
experience of my life! Absolutely
amazing!
It went really well and was a quick
one for the first baby (six and a half
hours). I woke up at 5:00 am on
Friday and had a "bloody show",
then a little later some random
contractions came on. They felt
stronger than the braxton hicks I had
experienced before so I knew it was
the real thing.
They continued
throughout the day,
but they weren't real
strong or regular
so Rick and I just
hung around the flat
eating, reading,
watching TV, and I
even gave myself a
facial and painted
my toes (not easy to
reach as you can
imagine!).
